We can boast two of are members, Peter and Tanya are in the Olympics (OK not as competitors) and also Peter' wife and my wife are Games Maker.
In Peter's words: "Our job was, after the athletes went through security, to give them accreditation (passes) which they had to wear on a lanyard everywhere they went. We met or saw some famous people, Kath checked in Maria Sharapova, which made the men on the team jealous. When the GB football team came in with Ryan Giggs there was an amazing buzz of excitement and our swimmers also came in at the same time, Rebecca Adlington being with them. We saw Clive Woodwood several times - he would meet & greet all the UK team, so we knew that if he was around some more of our 530 athletes were coming through to us for passes. Also passing through was Victoria Pendelton & Chris Hoy".
