Monday 21 May 2018 Beginners/Joggers group.  Meet at Freedom Leisure 9.00am (note earlier time 9.00am not 9.30am)

Tuesday 22 May 2018 Main group.  Ashdown Forest.  Meet at Ellisons Pond Ashdown Forest 7.00pm for 7.15pm or Freedom Leisure 6.50pm for 7.00pm if you want a lift to Ashdown Forest. 

Wednesday 23 May 2018 Track training Eastbourne (suitable for all abilities Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne BN21 2UF £3 pay on track)

Sunday 3 June 2018 Worthing 10k 

Track training is 2nd and 4th Weds at Eastbourne (with Heathfield) 7pm to 8pm £3 and intervening Weds at Crowborough starting 6 June 2018 7.30pm to 8.30pm £1 book via Dayle on Monday before.

The club Barbeque will be on Sunday 24 June 2018 (after the Heathfield 10k)

Focus races

In most months 1 or 2 events are selected as particular events we seek to support: so hopefully we can achieve a strong turnout for each of these events: lets make a crowd. Mostly these will be 5 mile or 10k so anyone can do them.  Please see combined events list for a fuller list of events we participate in (click on Events then button combined events list: including later Focus events which are shown in bold). Our next Focus event is Hastings 5 mile on Sunday 13 May 2018

The 2018/19 season dates will be agreed in September 2018

Sussex Grand Prix events

A full list of 2018 races are shown on the Sussex Grand Prix Page within the Racing tab with links to entry.   For a full score you need to complete 6 out of the 10 races (this is a changing from previous years, which was 8 out of 17 and you no longer need to complete races of 10 miles or more).

Main Group: Tuesday Training 

Tuesday training is a mix of steady runs and more 'technical' sessions such as hills or repetitions.  During the spring/Summer we mainly train off road in the winter the runs are in Uckfield.

Monday and Thursday Beginners/Joggers Groups

There are beginners/joggers groups on Monday 9.30am (term time only) and Thursday 7.30pm.  These are relaxed social groups which cater for absolute beginners, joggers and runners looking for a more relaxed run.  See the beginners tab for further details

Track Training

Track training is at Eastbourne (Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne BN21 2UF) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month from 7pm.  The session is for 1 hour and there is a charge of £3.  This is suitable for all abilities.  This is a joint session with Heathfield Road Runners and is a coached session.  We may start additional training at Crowborough on alternate Weds
