RUNNING SESSIONS
We have 5 session in the week and a trail run is sometimes orgainsised at the weekend which partly depends on which races are on, See further below for planned weekend trail runs this month and next month.
It is £1 per session: applies but please do not bring cash. Please pay for your sessions in the month at the start of the following month by bank transfer to the club account details of which will be included in the weekly reminder email. The charge for a month is capped at £4.
Sessions are held each week as follows
Monday 5k run with Dayle. There is also usually a longer off road option of about 5 miles. Meet at Freedom Leisure 9.30am and once a month at Crowborough track (this is posted to Facebook). This session is suitable for all abilities including beginners
Tuesday 5k run with Chirs Stepehn or Holly. Meet at Freedom Leisure (note sometimes the meet place will be different but all booked runners will be advised) 6.30pm This session is suitable for all abilities including beginners
Tuesday structured training sessions with Gemma. Meet at Uckfield Rugby club (Nevill Rd, Uckfield TN22 1LX) 6.30pm. This session consists of hill reps or other reps (it is a structured session but you run it as hard as you like). The session lasts 60 to 90 mins. Not suitable for beginners. The session is based on time so you do not need to be 'super speedy ' some will do more reps than others but the total distance will usually be 10/11lk so you do need to be comfortable running this distance.
Thursday 5k 7pm Victoria Park run with Emma. There is also usually a longer version of about 5 miles. Meet at Victoria Park (aka Victoria Pleasure Ground) 7.00pm. In summer 5k is road or trail runs 5 mile always trail. In winter 1st Thursday is hills, 2nd Thursday town run, 3rd Thursday reps, Last Thursday 5k town or 5 mile torch and trail This session is suitable for all abilities including beginners
Thursday 5k run with Chris (Christopher). Meet at Freedom Leisure 7.30pm. In the winter this is a town run, in the summer can be road or trail. This session is suitable for all abilities including beginners
Sunday social off road usually about 10k on some weekends. These are posted on our Facebook page. Meet time and place does vary: for some meet at Uckfield Rugby club (Nevill Rd, Uckfield TN22 1LX)

Beginners
Any of the 5k groups are suitable for non runners and beginners. If you are a beginner (not yet up running 5k) someone will do a jog walk session with you (which may be less than 5k as applicable). Click here for more information >.
Social
Its not all about running, we hold a Christmas meal and Dance and a barbeque in the Summer.
