A cold but dry day, apart from the odd flurry of snow, for this two lap undulating course throught scenic Woodland. Plenty of hills and plenty of mud made this a 'proper' cross country.
The combined Uckfield/Heathfield team was fourth behind Lewes, Hailsham and Crowborough Heathfield. We retain fourth position in the league with 4 races down and 2 to go.
Well done to Ryan, Graham, Jason, Catherine (pictured), Tanya and Peter running from Uckfield. See Results tab for results.

It was dry but windy day which greated the runners for the third race of the 2012/13 season. There was a good turnout from Uckfield with nine runners. We had seven at the first race, eight last time and now nine, I shall be looking for at least ten at the next race. Running from Uckfield were, Terry (pictured), Ryan, Shaun, Graham, Rachael, Catherine, Tanya, Peter and Adele. We run this as a joint team with Heathfield and finished fourth team thus retaining our position as fourth. Well done to all who ran. There are three more races to go. For times of our runners see the Results tab which also has a link to full results and there are more photos on the Photos tab.

In alphebetical order Adele, Ciaran, Colin, Graham, Jo (pictured), Kirsty (pictured), Lynn, Peter, Ray, Sarah, Tanya, and Wayne did the run with various family members on the walk. Adele wins the prize for best family turnout with a total of 6 family members crossing three generations: well done Adele. It was a really nice run, splendid views with Coffees/Teas, mince pies and nibbles afterwards. Thank you Ray and Tanya for hosting such a great event.
