Individually the cumulative results show some promising results: cumulative ladies: Tara J is in first place in F40, also Jamie Keddie is 4th in M40 but has only completed 3 races so looking good

Under England Athletics guidelines clubs are allowed groups of a run leader and up to 12 runners from 29 March 2021 as was the case before the most recent lockdown. As before the sessions will need to be pre booked and the previous Covid Secure guidelines will need to be followed: ie back to the new normal. Accordingly Pete will be sending round an email inviting you to book sessions each Friday with a link to the online booking form. As far as possible we will split groups to accommodate all runners but if not possible some bookings would need to be cancelled.
It is expected the restrictions will last until 21 June 2021.
The booking system is set out ON THE TRAINING TAB.

Wealden is being placed into tier 4 with effect from Boxing day. Accordingly the Boxing day run and the run on Sunday 27 December are cancelled. The announcement does not affect the run this evening or the Christmas day run tomorrow but please ensure you adhere to the guidelines and in particular maintain social distancing.
In compliance with the new tier all training sessions are for now suspended. Sessions will resume when the relevant guidelines permit.
You can still run with one other person, we are not setting up a system to pair runners, but please feel free to post to our Facebook page if you are looking for someone to run with. Please note you must arrange any such runs with only one specific individual: eg DO NOT post I will be doing a run from this location at this time if anyone want to join me.
